The latest London Fashion Week (September 12-16, 2014) has been hitting the headlines again this week with the spring/summer 2015 season highlights being sashayed down the catwalk, celebs being spotted in the front row and all the gossip coming from backstage and after show parties.

Learn Create Love’s Printable Paper Dresses were inspired by her daughter Lorelai’s love for playing Dress Shop – “She pretends to be the owner of a dress shop. I have to walk into the living room, sit down, and tell her exactly what kind of outfit/dress/ball gown etc that I would like her to make me. She stands at her easel and draws exactly what I describe. Then she takes down my information and tells me to come back in a week,” writes mum Kimberly. Fortunately Lore also asked her mum to make her some dresses she could colour and decorate and that’s what shared on this page – “You could laminate it to get more uses out of it, or stick it in a sheet protector. Cut out a head, arms, and legs from construction paper to turn them into paper dolls!”
That post was from February 2013 but clearly Kimberly’s “little fashion designer” was not simply “going through a phase” as by June her mum had created (and very nicely shared with us) a Printable Pretend Play Set: Dress Shop to further indulge her “#1 favorite activity”. The set includes an order form with dress styles, decoration and accessories to be chosen from, and a page on which to design the dress.
