You’ve made your list but have you checked it twice and found a way to tell Who’s been naughty or nice (Ask the elf!) so the next step might be to wrap and tag the gifts you’ve already had chance to make or buy ready to hide from eager searching little eyes and hands (that way your two year old might not have been playing with the puzzle that was supposed to be a stocking filler for the last two weeks…)

And, if Rudolph and his flying colleagues are one of the things you love most about Christmas, then take a look at Mother Natured’s Reindeer Noses Gift Tags too. With space on the front for the to and from information the recipient will also find some reindeer facts on the back. Did you know a reindeer coat has two layers of fur to help them stay warm? Or that reindeer have a strong sense of smell to help them find lichen under the snow?
The Creature Comforts blog, unsurprisingly, offers a quirky creature-based selection of diamond shaped black and white tags that you can “attach a little pom pom to the top of each animal’s hat (using a dab of craft glue) for an extra festive touch!”
Trimcraft’s Claire has posted a set of Free Christmas Tags Printables on the craft supplier’s website. The nine outline designs “can be cut out and used to decorate your cards or gift wrapping. Mount them on card, add glitter or colour them in the choice is yours”. Each have different wording in a variety of fonts including Do not open until 25th December, Handmade gift for you! and Special Delivery.
For a very simple printable tag base, and several suggestions of how to decorate it including a bauble and a 3D Christmas tree design, head to Creations by Kara to download her Christmas Gift Tags.
Papercrafts Inpirations magazine also offers some Cute Christmas free printable papers and toppers designed by Jenny Ellory to download from its website which could be used as wrapping paper and tags as well as to make cards with.

Need Vintage Christmas Wrap to go with your vintage tags? Then head to Artful Adventures for three sheets of original vintage Christmas wrap for you to print off. “These come from an old sample book of my grandfather’s who for a while was a salesman for Christmas decorations and wrapping paper in the 1930’s” writes Jude.
